Reuse-first evaluation
Working items, repairable parts, and useful components are prioritized before anything is recycled.
Where Donations Go
Items are evaluated, refurbished when possible, reused, used for educational projects, harvested for parts, resold when appropriate to support operations, or responsibly recycled if not usable.

How free pickup works
Simple, local, and reuse-first.
Simple, local, and reuse-first.
1. Tell us what you have
Send a short list of electronics, approximate quantity, town or ZIP code, and whether you need data help.
2. Confirm pickup details
We’ll confirm whether pickup or drop-off makes sense, then coordinate a practical time and location.
3. Evaluate for second life
Items are repaired, refurbished, reused, used for education, harvested for parts, resold to support operations, or recycled responsibly.

Where your donation goes
Every donated item is evaluated with reuse first.
Every donated item is evaluated with reuse first.
The goal is to keep electronics out of landfills by repairing, refurbishing, reusing, learning from, harvesting parts from, or responsibly recycling them when reuse is not possible.
Refurbished for Reuse
Usable computers, laptops, parts, and electronics are tested, repaired, cleaned, and given a second life whenever possible.
Used for Educational Projects
Some donated electronics may be used for hands-on engineering, repair, testing, troubleshooting, and electronics learning projects.
Harvested for Parts
Devices that cannot be fully repaired may still provide valuable parts such as RAM, hard drives, power supplies, screens, circuit boards, cables, speakers, and other components.
Responsibly Recycled
Items that are no longer usable or repairable are separated and recycled responsibly when possible, helping reduce unnecessary e-waste and landfill waste.
Not every donated item can be directly reused, but every item is evaluated with reuse first. Some parts or working items may be resold to help fund free pickups, tools, repairs, testing equipment, and responsible recycling costs.

Data safety
Ask about hard-drive removal, wiping, or destruction before donating.
Hard-drive removal is available, and basic data recovery may be possible by request. If you have sensitive files, old drives, or questions about wiping or destruction options, ask before donating so the right handling plan is clear.
Common data requests
• Remove a hard drive before pickup • Wipe a drive when reuse is possible • Destroy a drive if reuse is not appropriate • Recover basic files by request when possible
Why donate instead of throwing away?
More reuse. Less e-waste. A second life for useful electronics.

Help the community
Working and repairable electronics can support practical projects, learning, and local reuse.
Support repair
One broken device can provide the part that brings another device back to life.
Recycle responsibly
Items that cannot be reused are separated and recycled responsibly whenever possible.
